Standing in the grotto I was looking for a revelation secretly
my head was pretty heavy like a novice I was thinking stupidly
someone in the past, a little careless, took a little liberty
one moment to the next, things had changed,
and now we’re speaking of him quietly
one moment to the next, things had changed,
we learned our lesson, didn’t we?
Cleaning up the bedroom
I was thinking of the consequences of our needs
I didn’t even vote, instead I comforted my soul
with different means
‘cos who can even tell when at first you fail
or when you finally succeed
one moment to the next, things had changed,
and now you’re sitting on some leather seat
one moment to the next, things had changed,
and now you just want to leave
you just want to leave
Hearing all their problems
makes you wonder why you bother saying anything
just then you remember when you were so much younger,
and you couldn’t sing
and then you ask for wisdom –
a text, a dream, a vision, a sight of the cherubim
one moment to the next, things had changed,
and now you’re going to listen carefully
one moment to the next, things will change
I am waiting
I have been a listener of Luxury since ‘Amazing and Thank You’ Lee’s thoughtful lyrics the instrumentation and raw emotion have always drawn me to this band. So far on this album I enjoy One of Those Things (Or) The Temple. Great job! jason hendry
